5pm Fish Fry @ Hatteras Volunteer Fire Department- Enjoy locally caught fried fish YUM! Eat in or take out. $9/adults, $6/kids.
10pm DJ Night @ Sandbar & Grille - DJ Fresh will be taking you on a musical journey back to the future! No cover. Must be 21+. Late menu is available.
Sunday, August 9th
11am-3pm Brunch & Live Music @ Hatteras Sol Deli- Enjoy a menu of yummy breakfast and lunch items! Live, acoustic music is played in the courtyard while you eat and enjoy the sunshine.
Monday, August 10th
10am The Lost Colony Presents: How I Became a Pirate @ Koru Beach Klub - A musical production based on the popular children’s book tells the journey of Jeremy Jacob’s encounter with Capt. Braid Beard and his buccaneers. Tickets: $10 plus tax. All ages welcome!
10:30am Moving the Lighthouse @ Cape Hatteras Lighthouse - Ever wonder how they moved the lighthouse? Join a ranger for a short stroll along the move path and around the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse to discover how and why we did just that in 1999.
Tuesday, August 11th
8am Morning Bird Walk @ ORV Ramp 44 Buxton - Come explore the beach and salt marsh habitats of various types of birds. Free! Great for all ages.
9am Farmer’s Market @ Koru Beach Klub Lawn - Vendors will be selling local produce, baked goods and handmade crafts/jewelry.
2pm Salty Dawgs Lecture Series @ Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum - Award winning landscape and nature photographer, Eve Turek, will be discussing images and her relationship with the Outer Banks.
Wednesday, August 12th
10am Pottery Class @ Kinnakeet Clay - Create your own fish wall hanging using slabs of clay, patterns, texture stamps and your imagination! $45/person, all supplies included. Book your space early!
2pm Island Science @ Hatteras Island Ocean Center - Come seining with us and we will see what life lives below the surface of the water in the salt marsh. $5/person. All ages welcome.
9pm Comedy Wednesdays @ Pangea Tavern - Come out and see the funniest show on Hatteras Island. Event sponsored by the OBX Comedy Club.
9:30pm HIPL: Poker Night @ Sandbar & Grille - Text Hold ‘em tournament style poker. Free to play and anyone can join. Prizes for 1st and 2nd place. Late night menu available.
